Quick Heart Pocket Using the Folded Heart Template

Posted on February 10, 2016 at 10:50 PM

If you watched the video posted earlier, showing how to make the Folded Heart here is the finished project.

I've secured the pocket with a mini clip which I have coloured with alchohol inks to match my project. There is a stamped heart shaped message card inside, made using one of the heart sections of the template. A nice big ribbon and a stamped greeting on the front, completes a quick project. This one is currently hanging on my Mum's noticeboard in her nursing home.

I firmly believe Valentine's Day is for telling anyone you love that you care for them. This whole series of projects has been about that. It is not just for lovers! I make things for all my family, including my children, husband and my Mum.

Don't take people for granted is definitely the lesson to learn in life because in a moment they can be gone.

For those of you who follow this blog, my lovely Mum is still with us, after a very difficult Chritmas and New Year, where she was hospitalised after pneumonia and a massive heart attack. This was on top of a severe stroke several years ago that has left her paralysed and unable to talk and although she is much weaker she is defintely still my wonderful Mum and she loves her heart card!

So make something for someone you love today and tell them how much they mean to you!
