I promised a new template, so here it is! Today's free template is simple but when you make it up, it is really effective. You know that flowers are really my favourite thing and I never tire of making them, paper flowers that is.

Just a quick post to say although it has gone a bit quiet, I'm still here, just bogged down with all kinds of life issues at the moment.

Today, we are covering the last in our mini series, using the new Spectrum Aqua pens. These pens are watercolours, so you can blend and use them just like watercolour pencils or crayons but with a much more vibrant colour.

Those of you who have read the blog post on making the Exploding Box, from our new template, will have noticed that the second box, in a black and gold theme, contained a mini envelope in the middle. Here at Mementoes In Time, we are clearly going backwards in time! All the photos posted over the last week or so seem to be labelled as 2014. As much as I would like to blame some other supernatural forces at work on this site, unfortunately, this is 100% user error, so big apologies for that. I mentioned that my Spectrum Aqua pens had arrived the other day. I was going to wait until I had time to do a really detailed run-down of them but I was too excited to wait and decided to rip open the packs and play with them right away. Here are my first thoughts using these pens.
