Mementoes In Time

Some may have noticed that the site has not been updated so much this year. There has been a reason for that. Unfortunately, my dear, wonderful Mum passed away earlier in the year after a very difficult period of around three years, during which she deteriorated greatly. I have not felt inspired to do much since then as I am sure many would understand.

Just to say that there was a glitch on the Member pages 'Other Templates' page. The full range of files was missing but it has now been sorted out and you should find all the free download files that are meant to be there. The page has been renamed as 'Other Member Templates'. Aplolgies for any confusion but things stuff up occasionally!

A very belated Happy New Year to our visitors!

Unfortunately, personal events and circumstances as well as illness have made continuing this blog very difficult over the last year or two.

Unfortunately I have been unable to update the site over the last few days as my dear Mum had a very large heart attack on Friday last week. She is currently in hospital, very poorly, as she already had suffered a massive stroke a couple of years ago which had left her unable to communicate or move.

Here is part three of our mini series, using the new Spectrum Aqua pens from Spectrum Noir. I ordered these pens a few days ago and have posted a review and another project on the blog, so skip back if you want to read those.

Here at Mementoes In Time, we are clearly going backwards in time! All the photos posted over the last week or so seem to be labelled as 2014. As much as I would like to blame some other supernatural forces at work on this site, unfortunately, this is 100% user error, so big apologies for that. I'm sure most of you reading this, would have worked it out anyway but instead of going back to change them all, I'm just coming clean on the blog!

I mentioned that my Spectrum Aqua pens had arrived the other day. I was going to wait until I had time to do a really detailed run-down of them but I was too excited to wait and decided to rip open the packs and play with them right away. Here are my first thoughts using these pens.
