I can't believe that the year is almost over and here we are again facing another Christmas period and another challenge!
Please consider taking part in the Challenge this time, even if you haven't done so before. Don't be shy! We really need more entries to make the competition fun for everyone and it is so easy to enter your project!
Just like the last challenge, we are going to roll the November and December challenges into one. The finish date will be at the start of December, as the site will be 'closed' from 13th December until mid-January, so you will need to get going on your entries if you are going to take part!
The theme is going to be....wait for it.....'Christmas'....no surprises there.
However, I want you try thinking outside the box a bit with your entries... if you can. Try to think of it as a 'show-piece' or 'demo project' that will perhaps show-case a particular card-making technique or skill that you have used.
You might for instance try a technique you haven't tried before (and note this on your entry), try mixing media that you wouldn't normally use together, or try a colour-scheme which is not traditional, like black and pink or black and blue.
Of course, it is up to you, so you can enter anything you like, so no pressure!
The normal rules and conditions apply:
The five judging criteria are:
In the event of a tie, the prize voucher will be split between the winners. The top prize is normally a $10 download voucher to spend on the site but for this challenge, you can choose a mystery prize pack instead. The pack will include items choosen from the webstore to the value of $10.
The winner will be announced on the blog and contacted through the member message system or by email.
You can enter by uploading your photo to the Wall of Fame Photo Album (clearly marking your entry as Christmas Challenge), emailing your entry to us, uploading a photo to the forum - under the Competition Entry Thread, or you can add a link in the comments section of the blog.
Please tell your friends about the Challenge and let's get lots of people involved, as this might be the last challenge for a while. We may not run them next year, so it would be good to drum up lots of entries for this one.
