Here is another distressed ink card, which is actually very simple to make but pretty effective and is actually one of my most popular designs for card packs.
To make this card, I've simply stamped this very basic tree design (the stamp is from Stamp It) onto a piece of card and torn around the edges.
I've then added my mix of all the green distressed inks I could lay my hands on, incuding Bundled Sage, Olive and Forest Green and built up the colour gradually.
Some stickles glitter glue on the baubles and a final brush with Perfect Pearls (Gold) powder, creates a wonderful shimmer effect that you can't see very well in the photo but catches the light beautifully.
Mounted onto a clean white card blank, you get a really nice contrast between the green and the plain background. I've decided that this will be my chosen design for my own cards that I am sending this year, so I'll be setting up the production line soon!
