Accessories can make a card can't they and in fact, although, on the whole, I prefer clean, simple lines on my designs, I do think that embellishments like buttons, ribbons and bows can really liven up a handmade card that you make for a friend or family member.
Here are a couple of very quick stamped cards, using a bow template to make co-ordinating paper bows.
.
This makes a nice change from using ribbon and I like the fact that you can use papers that match or work with the other papers and card you are using.Dotty or spotty papers seem to work particularly well. Cards with bulky attachments don't mail well, so they are best handed over in person but they make such a lovely 3D effect.
You can find one bow style to download and try on this year's Christmas Series, on the Member pages. The full file can be found on the template pages.
