Christmas '15' Series Beautiful Trees Window

Posted on November 27, 2015 at 6:30 PM

I always like to add a new stamp or two to my collection each year. Apart from getting hold of the very beautiful Stampin Up, Madonna and Child Stamp set that I have wanted for years now, I have added a couple of Hero Arts stamps, including this one which works so well with the Window Card Template.

I

This is a lovely reverse stamp, so that the white trees are the indented part and the ink is applied to the background. This is such a beautiful stamp that the rest of the card can really be quite plain, so I have gone for a simple blue and white theme. I've added some snow by simply using my scallop scissors on a piece of white card and mounted it with foam pads to give some depth to the scene. I have also added sparkle with some glitter glue on the trees.

A simple but very stylish card on a winter theme.

Never mind, it is a bit overated I think. People who haven't experienced it are always surprised how cold it is. I prefer the sun myself, although that is in short supply here!

Love your window templates Imy. What a stunning view. I have yet to see snow. It's on my bucket list!
