Still on the album theme, today I am posting a quick tag album project. The last trip to Disneyland Paris at Christmas just gone was amazing! We went as an extended family after an exceptionally difficult time after losing Dad and we wanted to just not do the normal Christmas thing, as it would have been so sad. My kids are pretty much all grown up but even so, they insisted on running around and collecting all the fastpass tickets for all the rides in the parks, even if they weren't going on them. This became a bit of an obsession and like all these things you collect, they just sit around in the drawer at home and forgotten.
So, I decided to make this tag album, probably due to cabin fever having to stay inside and then realised that it would be the perfect place to stick those tickets. A nice quick and satisfying project for the Cornonavirus lockdown, remembering better days when we could travel freely. I am definitely feeling trapped and can only plan my next trip in my head because who knows when or if we will ever escape!
I actually hand cut the tags as I wanted a particular size of around 4 inch width. The covers are chipboard and simply covered with some leftover scrappaper. I used the Alterations 'On the Edge' die to make the pocket on the front and Sizzix luggage label and tickets for the embellishments. The stamps are Royal Langnickel Clear Choice Travel France and Kaiser 'All About Me'. Inside the album I have used the Sizzix Scallop Pocket die to hold the tickets which surprisingly fitted them perfectly.
Couldn't resist a photo of these glorious metal keys. You can get them on Ebay. Just love them.
